The Güsche always gives you two views— that of the medieval capital city of Bern and long range the Swiss Alps with the towering Eiger, Mönch and Jungfraujoch. The artist chose the latter nicely contrasted with autumn shades. With the fallen leaves and fresh grass mixed with each other make it bearable to control the playful gouache colors and manipulate it easier using wash and dry-on-wet techniques.
